Leading Minds
Our teachers are ambitious educators who seek to meet their students’ needs. We provide a bounty of resources for each educator, so that they may be successful in their work. Technology is a great support tool for educating our diverse student population. Each teacher is provided with instructional technology that enhances the teaching and learning experience.
Resources extend beyond instructional materials. We support our teachers with the training and development needed to be the best they can be. New to the profession teachers receive an assigned mentor and participate in an induction program that includes regular check-ins and support groups. New hire, but experienced teachers also receive support through on-boarding and induction opportunities. Teachers who seek to enrich their scope of knowledge may also participate in leadership development classes provided by DVUSD.
